For generations now, Miele has been producing both domestic and commercial machines demonstrating superb quality, durability and the ability to conserve valuable resources. In doing so, Miele is assuming responsibility for generations. Miele's 4th sustainability report, published in 2008 under the same title, presents how Miele assumes responsibility in many areas of corporate life. For the first time, this report has been compiled in compliance with guidelines on sustainability reporting published by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Similarly, an international stakeholder poll has been carried out for the first time in order to define target groups and their needs and to integrate this knowledge into the report.
